This is one of the strongest images I've ever seen.


All those people you see inside the hole are about to be vilely executed.


They were part of the million people killed during the communist genocide in Indonesia in 1965.


Little is said about this genocide, perhaps because it did not take place in a first-world country, but it was one of the worst massacres in the entire history of humanity.


A photo from the past, which reminds us of the massacres that have taken place and will continue to take place.
