Some rather famous ones come from this (see below). Pictures after liberation were ordered by the Allied high command. Eisenhower predicted that people would end up denying it so he wanted as many photos as possible as evidence. Various resistance movements mostly in Poland took pictures. In truth though not many pictures survive. Of the ones that do, 99% were taken by the allies at the time of liberation. This photo is a photo of open-air cremation, often used when the crematoriums were at full capacity during a coal shortage.
