Presents: this is Południca (Lady Midday) An exceptionally nasty Slavic demon .


She doesn't roam at night like any decent demon, but you'll meet her at noon on hot summer days. She especially liked the area around the fields during the harvest.




It is especially dangerous for children, young women and tired farmers


Old people in the villages say that when walking in the fields on a hot cloudless noon you see a whirl of hot air resembling a small tornado, it may mean that Poludnica is being born, and then it is best to run away as far as possible .
