A father and son fooling around while getting their pictures taken, 1910

This a rare example of people goofing off in front of a camera. Back during this period, getting your picture taken was a serious event. Photographs were not like they are today.

They took a long time to be taken, so people did not smile in them, as smiling for long periods can be uncomfortable.

Some people also were quite suspicious of cameras as humanity entered a new age of technology.

Photographs could be pretty expensive to be taken, so people did not fool around while getting them taken so that they could save money.

This a wholesome post for you wholesome people. We hope you enjoy it!
