Do you remember Vitellius?

Do you remember Vitellius?
He Roman emperor for eight months, (in the Year of the Four Emperors) from 19 April to 20 December Anno Domini 69.

On the 20th of December Anno Domini 69, the Flavian troops led by Vespasian took Rome. Emperor Vitellius had initially intended to flee but returned to the palace which he found abandoned.

Then he dressed in dirty clothes and tried to hide among the servants' quarters. The soldiers discovered him and dragged him half-naked to the Roman Forum where he was tortured and killed, after which he was thrown into the Tiber.

His body was never found.
From now on, Emperor Vespasian was the undisputed ruler of the Roman Empire. 👑
